BIO

TAMBOKA is Gypsy Latin soul in motion — a fusion of soul with remnants of tradition. Born in Miami, this collective blends genres that channel the heat of Latin grooves, the swing of jazz, and the spirit of global music. Their name says it all: TAMBO for drum representing the heartbeat, BOKA for mouth representing the voice- a culmination of influences speaking from the heart

With roots stretching across Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Europe, and the U.S., TAMBOKA blends percussion-driven rhythms with vocals, brass, and strings-embodying a freestyle flow. Their shows are pure energy — raw, and electric. They’ve set stages ablaze at festivals such as Virginia Key Grassroots, Art With Me, and Love Burn, moving hearts and feet alike.

Now, TAMBOKA is stepping into a bold new sound — weaving in electronic textures, rock grit, and cumbia drumming — without losing the fire that started it all.

We feel, love, and flow — one beat at a time.
